SYNOPSIS
RED BULL BC ONE: NEW YORK
Man against man. Move against move. This is Red Bull BC One, the inofficial Breakdance world championship. No-one relies on anyone else. Each fights for himself. Anyone who wants to make it to the next round has to know the four basic breakdance moves in his sleep: Toprock, Downrock, Freeze and Powermoves. For the 6th edition of Red Bull BC One, the sixteen best Bboys in the world return to New York, the birthplace of Hip-Hop. 1,600 fans await the boys at the crammed-full Hammerstein Ballroom. Among them are two who already know the title’s sexy feel. They are former champs Lilou from France and Wing from Taiwan. The judges – among them Breakdance icons Katsu of The Mighty Zulu Kings and 2007 champion Ronnie of Sup3r Crew – are tough: nothing will pass them by. They love Kung-Fu and a Black Belt. Whoever gives them that will make history.
